Maintenance

We will be upgrading one of the components in our networking stack. This upgrade allows for greater visibility on network-related errors, allowing Modal engineers to better identify and solve networking-related issues.

We are upgrading file-system encryption in our API servers to more robust encryption at-rest.

We will be updating our logging backend to encrypt all logging cache at rest. We will also be updating our main application database to improve reliability and performance.

An upgrade to our networking stack may cause slight API instability and slowness fora few minutes, but no downtime is expected.

We'll conduct security updates to our networking stack.
